We are Veriu Group (pronounced 'Very You') Our brands come from humble beginnings and a passion for connecting travellers to the local authenticity of a location. Through our brands Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, we operate 25 hotels across Australia and have over 35 years of brand history. Our ambitious plan to operate 80 hotels by 2030 becomes closer this year with numerous new hotel openings across the country, and this means we're well on our way to achieving our mission of becoming the largest Australian-owned apartment hotel operator.

Once upon a time, an old federation warehouse sat quietly on Mountain Street. It was a space where hard-working people built, made and created. Workers came and went, and its strong framework was a space for many an industry, including an old leather tannery.
As the years went on, the area around it began to evolve. Change was in the air. Fast forward to 2017 and that old warehouse has been lovingly converted into a very special hotel, Veriu Broadway. With a nod to the past through its exposed industrial features, the hotel reflects the future of travel and celebrates today's traveller with innovative and stylish design and loft-inspired living.
The hotel offers complimentary bikes to ride the city and free high-speed Wi-Fi to keep you connected.

No day will be the same, but each day you'll strive to:
Oversee the front office including complaint escalation and problem-solving, team management and training, rostering & timesheet approvalsEnsure the front office provides a high level of guest services to guests at check-in, check-out, and during stayCreate new ways to leave guests with a lasting memorable experienceUse your inquisitive nature to identify new sales leads, encouraging the team to do the sameManage emergency situations in a safe and professional mannerBuild strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guestsProvide assistance in managing events/functions of the hotelProvide support and assistance to the Hotel Manager in higher-level hotel management and admin tasks, in order to prepare yourself for a future Hotel Manager roleYou'll be someone looking for a long-term career with a growing, Australian-owned hotel group. The successful person must have:
Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)Flexibility to work at a variety of shifts throughout the week, including public holidays on rotation with other team members (although no overnight shifts required)Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomesDemonstrated ability to problem solve and manage escalated complaints with appropriate resolutionsHigh standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)
