As a CA, you will be involved in all post-contract award decisions from procurement, letting subcontract trade packages, management of RFIs, variations and progress claims, EOTs and NoDs. As your experience grows, you will have an understanding of Head Contract Management and preparing/presenting monthly Cost Reports to the Management Team under a PM. Typically working on one project at a time, the jobs are all geared to deliver high quality rather than spread you thin across multiple jobs to keep prelims low.The Builder is well-recognised and respected within their project range of $1M - $20M and growing within their sector. The business hires on personality to ensure they do not lose the culture they have worked hard to establish. If they find someone who is loyal and passionate, they will invest heavily in your professional development.Qualifications & ExperienceYou will have finished a Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering or ArchitectureYou will have a minimum of 3-4 years industry experience working for a recognised Head Contractor in SydneyYour key drivers will be about wanting to be part of something and work with professional people whilst building quality projectsYour attitude will be your biggest asset - you will be hard working, have a positive mindset and be eager to learnYou will have worked with good construction software
