Add expected salary to your profile for insights.As a Production Estimator, you'll be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the seamless execution of residential construction projects. Your primary focus will be to prepare accurate Bill of Quantities and efficiently produce Purchase Orders to support the build process. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring cost-effectiveness, precision, and adherence to building practices.About the role:Preparing cost, materials, and labour estimates and take-offs.Preparing 'Bill of Quantities' using relevant computer software.Issue purchase orders promptly for the respective functions.Study and report on amendments to architectural drawings, engineering designs, specifications, and other documentation.Action variations and address purchase orders where required.Maintain margins in accordance with company policy.Foster strong relationships and communicate effectively with relevant internal staff and external contractors and suppliers to enhance project outcomes.Examine ETS requests, providing feedback and swiftly process orders.Contribute actively to improving and developing business systems.About you:Minimum 2+ years' experience in the Building industry with a focus in residential estimating is ideal.Experience with DataBuild is advantageous.Solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and logical approach.Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.Good knowledge of building terminology and regulations.Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines.Excellent communication skills make you an effective team player.You're not just keen to learn; you actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skill set.Join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping exceptional construction projectsYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Production Estimator?How many years of estimating experience do you have?
