Our team patrols vast areas and are part of an Initial Response Team for emergency responses, provide surveillance, de-escalate abnormal incidents and liaise with police, perform drug and alcohol tests, and assist all staff, visitors and contractors onsite.As a Supervisor, this role will oversee the operations and performance of our teams on shift.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure effective supervision of the onsite security team.
This role requires high level communication skills as it will see you liaising directly with external and internal stakeholders, maintaining adequate and effective coverage throughout the site and accurate completion of all reports.
In this role you will:Be the lead point of contact for all security matters whilst on shift.Conduct security risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.Assist with rostering and manage the submission of accurate timesheets.Develop comprehensive security plans outlining strategies, procedures, and resources to mitigate risks.Implement access control measures to restrict unauthorized personnel from entering sensitive areas of the site.Collaborate with local law enforcement and relevant authorities to report and address security incidents promptly.Understand and respect local customs and cultures to maintain positive relationships with local communities.What we're looking forMinimum Certificate III Security OperationsHold a Western Australian Driver's LicenceHold a Western Australian Security Licence - Static Guard/Crowd ControlHold a Certificate II Security OperationsHave received or renewed your First Aid and CPR cert within the yearThe recruitment processApply online with your CV.Shortlisted candidates will receive a phone call from our Talent Advisor, where you'll learn more about the role.The next step is an online interview via Google Meet with the Contract Lead and Operations Manager.Successful candidates will move into compliance where we will conduct a medical & police check.About G4S Australia and New ZealandG4S, An Allied Universal Company is a leading security and facility services company that provides proactive security services and cutting-edge smart technology to deliver tailored, integrated security solutions.
