Success in this role is due largely to the relationships you will have developed with your stakeholders and the emphasis you place on delivering great results for your Business Partners. You will be a Key member of the Asset team responsible for delivering the leasing elements of the Strategic Asset Plan. You will:Negotiate tenancy deals, obtain approvals, logging the transaction and any variations to enable other areas of the business to document, execute the lease and open the tenancy as soon as possibleResearch the retail market, industry trends and individual business performance to seek to understand the broad centre market demographics and trends, demand, competition and opportunities to curate the right retail mixIdentify new concepts and businesses and present pipeline of new opportunities and strategic deals to the Regional Manager - Leasing and Retail SolutionsEnsure Business Partner Leads, meetings, minutes and conversations of substance are captured in Scentral (Salesforce)Work with Leasing Assistants to ensure critical documentation is accurate and delivery and return is speedyIdentify and provide solutions to replace or relocate underperforming businesses and pre-lease virtual vacancies in a timely wayEngage with co-owners for approvals working through the Developments and Strategic Asset Management team as requiredPrepare annual budgets and collaborate with other teams and key stakeholders to develop the Strategic Asset Plan for the asset and the communities in which they're locatedBuild and nurture strong business partnerships with retailers to deliver the leasing strategy for the asset whilst ensuring the financial metrics are maximisedThis role is permanent, full-timeWhat sets you apartMinimum 5 years leadership experience in the property (retail or service) industryFinancially numerate and a strong commercial acumenExperience in Property related, finance or business education – Tertiary preferredPossess strong negotiation SkillsPrioritise and manage time effectivelyGreat questioning to understand, clarify and influenceCollaborate well with stakeholdersYou are someone who is;Confident and at the same time humbleResponsiveRelationship drivenSolution focussedResilient and calm under pressureA Team Player – collaborates with others to get the job doneAbout usScentre Group owns 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
