A full range of paediatrics and adolescent health services are provided plus tertiary and quaternary care for the most critically ill and medically complex patients in Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and other states around Australia and overseas. The Hospital has more than 6,000 staff, a budget of $850M, 12 wards and 350 beds. Annually, the RCH has 300,000+ Specialist Clinic appointments, 90,000+ Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.RCH enjoys high employee engagement and is committed to staff safety and a positive culture through enactment of our Compact.About the Role:These full and part-time positions within the Specialist Clinics department/ward are front-line customer service positions involving a high level of interaction with patients and their families. You will also be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties including the scheduling of appointments.What you'll achieve:Excellence in customer service.Knowledge of Specialist Clinics booking practices.Skills in the use of our electronic medical record.Classification for this position ranges from A010- A012 (Full-time base salary $58,442 to $63,996 per annum, plus superannuation).Your skills and experience:Previous work in a busy front-line customer service-based role.Demonstrated experience in multiple computer applications.Ability to communicate in multiple languages or AUSLAN (Australian sign language).If this sounds like you, click here to view the position description.About Specialist Clinics:Specialist Clinics operates the outpatient service for all medical and surgical departments of the hospital.
