?.....this role is for you then...THE ROLEOur client seeks a driven and dynamic Electrical Designer to add to their team.
With a variety of work available and upward mobility, this role will be both challenging and stimulating.
While office-based, this role offers tremendous flexibility, with negotiable start and finish times and the choice of a 9-day working fortnight.
Some of your responsibilities will include:Deliver electrical designs in a timely and efficient mannerStrong commitment to quality systems, delivery processes, design reviews, and record-keepingDetermine, specify, and analyse quotes, procure and inspect materials for overhead and underground sub-transmission and special distribution projectsVariety - Work across Residential (URD), Rural Residential, Commercial and Industrial Subdivisions designABOUT YOUYou will be a highly flexible, hands-on, and results-driven professional dedicated to delivering work to a high-quality standard.
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Electrical Engineering Degree + RPEQ CertificationExperience with relevant engineering design software; AutoCAD, BricsCAD, LV Drop & Perfect LiteExperience in design with Energex and/or Ergon distribution networksReticulation design experience (Overhead and/or Underground design experience)Exceptional attention to detail in both written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret project scope documents to produce works plans for sub-transmission line constructionREWARDS AND BENEFITSExcellent salary package consisting of a Base Salary + SuperFlexibility - option of 9-day fortnights and varied start and finish timesFuture flexibility in your career – cross-training in related fields and a wide variety of workContinual training and development opportunities to diversify your skillsOUR CLIENTIs a South East Queensland-owned and operated electrical design consultancy servicing all of Queensland and offering 70 years of combined experience between the two directors.
