About Us
Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand.
We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
Our Melbourne office is relocating to a new space in St Kilda and we are looking for a junior/mid level geotechnical professional to join our busy team.
The role will be both site and office based with the flexibility to travel when required.
What You'll Need
A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree 2+ years experience working in a geotechnical consultancy carrying out fieldwork tasks Valid full-time working rights in Australia We would prefer someone who is currently Melbourne based and has experience working with the Victoria geology.
Ability to travel when required A full Australian drivers license A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geology Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written What You'll Get
Additional Day Leave on Birthday Provision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers Australia / Engineers New Zealand Access to our 2-year CMW graduate training program Office social events throughout the year Ability to earn overtime and/or time in Lieu Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position and we are looking for a candidate with experience in Australia and/or New Zealand.
