Moon Dog World is a 725pax brewery bar with 72 taps featuring delicious Moon Dog beers and Fizzers, (and a freakin' lagoon) in Sunny Preston
We have been busy opening three exciting new venues in 2024.
Due to the promotions and staff movement created by these new venues, we are looking for a Venue Manager to lead the team at Moon Dog World
Our ideal Venue Manager:
Has two plus years' experience managing a hospitality venue - the bigger the betterTakes great pride in their superb customer service and delicious beveragesCan competently run rosters, labour management, on shift ops, ordering, recruitment and reportingStrong organisational and interpersonal skillsHas full availability weekends and nightsExcited to work with our events & marketing team in bringing beer launches and events to lifeOversee every aspect of our venues, offer and operationsOur Venue Manager will:
Ensure every aspect of the venue's offer, service and operations are executed in order to leave a lasting positive impression on every customer.Ensure the venue meets and exceeds Moon Dog's established standards for cleanliness, organisation, and safety.Work with the Head Chef to create menus and service processes that meet the organisation objectives and varying demands of the venue.Maintain budgeted blended COGS % across food and beverageHold team leaders accountable for executing plans, meeting targets, and fostering a positive work environment.Ensure staff are properly inducted and trained to ensure competency in Moon Dog's processes, service standards, safe working methods, code of conduct, HR, policies & procedures.Manage the performance of the whole team and develop a program of reviews and training to enable further development within their roles.Ensure a high level of cooperation between the marketing and events team and the hospitality team to maximise event revenue.Make operational decisions that prioritise and maximise functions and large group bookings.Cooperate with group functions manager to support outbound function sales.Maintain a high average customer review rating, focusing on consistently improving the overall customer experience.Continuously embody and promote the company's values and brand image in all interactions and decisions.Collaborate on initiatives that enhance customer experience while driving business growth and financial outcomes.Implement creative cost-saving strategies while maintaining operational quality and effectiveness.Monitor key financial metrics and celebrate successes in cost control and financial management.We offer:
