As one of Australia's largest privately-owned civil engineering, construction and land development companies, we offer career opportunities across diverse sectors in both metropolitan and regional locations.Essential service industry providing job security and a robust pipeline of projectsCareer development and growth opportunities - be mentored by industry leadersFlexible workplace that promotes a healthy work-life balance and access to a health and wellbeing programPaid parental leave for primary and secondary careers and flexible work arrangements available.About the roleGetting our people home safely to their families every day is our top priority, and your role is vital in influencing project teams to achieve our vision of HSEQ Excellence - "The BMD Way".We are currently seeking a resource sector experienced HSET Advisor to be site-based on large scale resource construction projects in Western Australia on a 2/1 FIFO arrangement.Comfortable working in a large project team, you will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical ability to:Engage and support our project team and workforce to champion use of our systems, client requirements and industry best practice.Implementation of HSE standards and procedures.Undertake audits, inspections and frontline engagements.Contribute to risk workshops, communication forums and safety initiatives.Contribute to work method statements, project plans and reviews.Contribute to incident investigations and reviews.Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.Support training activities to build team capability.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 highly desirable)Demonstrable experience in the resource sectorKnowledge of current legislation, standards and industry requirementsYou may also have the following additional desirable skills:HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse training.Due to the high volume of applications and enquiries, we are only able to respond to shortlisted candidates.
