Analyst Job no: 494652 Work type: Full time Location: Melbourne Categories: Tax Position Summary This position is focused on International Tax advisory, including in relation to the hybrid mismatch rules, double tax treaties, multi-lateral instrument and international tax provisions generally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyse the law and draft client advice in relation to international tax issues
Author thought leadership articles for publication
Assist with business development initiatives
Liaise with clients and develop client relationships
Assist with practice management
Apply emerging technologies such as Alteryx and Artificial Intelligence
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Essential
Business / Commerce / Finance / Law degree with strong grades
Desirable
Ideally have commenced CA or Masters of Tax (or are considering doing so)
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES: Essential
2 to 4 years in an international tax / corporate tax role in a professional services environment
High performance ratings
Strong written communication skills.
Good verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
