About the Role A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager to join our team in Broome.
Ideally from a building product manufacturing or hardware background, you will provide leadership, training and management to your team where customer service is paramount, ensuring the smooth operation of the business while maintaining and building relationships with trade and retail customers.

As a leader within the business, you will play an important part in driving the overall company strategy and vision, leading through our values.
Working closely with members of the wider team, you will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the site.

Effective communication skills are critical to this role.

Responsibilities will include Leading by example as an exceptional leader with prior operational experience across a diverse site.
Working with our Company Values to achieve and inspire a positive and productive work culture, utilizing frontline leadership skills to ensure high-quality customer service at all times.
Managing daily operations of a diverse branch.
Focusing on achieving sales targets through exceptional customer service.
Ensuring processes and procedures are followed to minimize incorrect stocktake results.
Networking to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and Company.
Assisting with ongoing performance management activities to achieve a high-performing team.
Working closely with the Safety Manager on improvements, audits, investigations, or educational programs, ensuring compliance in safety management.
Maintaining a clean and tidy branch, including car parks and street frontage.
Collaborating with other departments and the sales team to help quote and sell 'whole of house' solutions within agreed timeframes.
Proactively assisting to achieve budget, including sales, gross, and net profit.
Establishing and maintaining a customer service ethos within the team.
Maintaining a high awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff, and site visitors.
Conducting regular product training with market-leading brands.
Building, maintaining, and raising standards across all aspects of the branch to ensure high-quality customer service at all times.
Being responsible for the delivery of agreed branch budget objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Demonstrated leadership experience within a diverse team.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively consult, negotiate and influence across a range of stakeholder groups.
Sound knowledge of the building industry, hardware, or retail environment.
Results-driven and customer-focused with the ability to seek and drive sales and build market share.
Experience in high-level collaboration to achieve results.
Genuine commitment to empower, manage, and maintain our Safety First culture.
A people person with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales target achievement.
Hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines and deliver to our customers.
High level of computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Passionate about making a difference, highly personable, engaging, and supportive in approach.
Supervisory qualifications would be highly beneficial.
Forklift licence (LF) advantageous.
