Ipswich West Special School (https://ipswwestspecs.eq.edu.au/) is a calm and inclusive environment and caters for students with intellectual disabilities.
Many students have additional disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, physical impairment, hearing impairment, and vision impairment.
We provide highly individualised programs for students to develop and demonstrate knowledge, skills, and understanding of the Australian Curriculum as well as addressing disability-specific issues within the areas of communication, social participation, emotional wellbeing, health and personal care, safety, and access to learning.

Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.
