The Role
The Inclusive Employment Program is designed to provide temporary workplace opportunities and experience for local people who face barriers to employment, for a duration of six months.
To apply for this position, you must live within the City of Whittlesea municipality, and you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
People from Culturally or Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds People living with disability Older people unable to find suitable employment Residents who may be experiencing hardship Make a difference in our community
Working as part of the Engagement Team within the Public Affairs department, you will provide general support across the department to deliver a comprehensive engagement program and provide high quality administrative support.
Every day will be different with a variety of tasks including administrative support, liaising with suppliers, and customer service with loads of opportunity to learn more about community engagement and communications in the multi-disciplinary department along the way.

You'll need a can-do attitude, be a problem solver, and able to provide administrative support while maintaining a willingness to learn.
