The Power & Utilities division delivers solutions for the Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Industries such as project certification and design verification, site assessment, grid connection support, supply chain quality management, project management assistance, construction supervision, as well as condition monitoring and asset management solutions.The Role:BV is seeking an experienced Senior Solar/BESS Electrical Engineer. The candidate should have a high-level understanding of energy yield assessments and experience in design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants. This may include:Budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract, and stakeholder managementSupervision of constructionProcurement activitiesInvolvement in negotiation with EPCManagement of industrial relationsKey Responsibilities:Solar/BESS site visits, inspections, and RCAsHigh-level understanding of energy yield assessmentsDesign review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plantsExperience with EPC, O&M, and module supply agreement contract reviewsPerform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of Solar and BESSManage projects as the owner's or lender's engineerKnowledge of wind projects is a plusManage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV's clientsMaintain communication with engineers of other international BV offices, facilitating information sharing in electrical engineering for renewable energy plantsClient liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress, and ensuring timely production of deliverablesParticipate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc.Any other tasks requested by the Engineering ManagerQualifications and Experiences:Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Masters preferredExperience in consultancy environment as owner and lender engineerSolar/BESS farm site experienceAbility to work under pressureExcellent report writing skillsThis role may require 20-30% travelThe Benefits:We offer a competitive salary package and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organization, as well as:Training and Development opportunities, an annual review to plan your career development objectives for career progressionDiscounted Health & Wellbeing PlatformFree access to our Employee Assistance Program supported by Lifework'sDiscounted Health Insurance with BupaSupport from a progressive and experienced management teamExposure to a variety of interesting and challenging work environmentsThis is your chance to secure a powerful career opportunity in a dynamic and progressive worldwide company.
