The Opportunity As our Change Manager, IT, you'll lead the journey of change and help make it a smooth, inspiring experience for everyone involved. Working alongside stakeholders, you'll identify key needs and shape targeted communication and change strategies that bring our projects to life. This role puts you at the heart of our transformation efforts, ensuring that every communication, training, and change initiative aligns with our vision and achieves real impact. Your commitment to quality and risk management will ensure a seamless transition, helping our university community confidently embrace new ways of working and delivering positive outcomes across our projects.
You will Shape and deliver strategic communication and change initiatives that align with our goals and timelines;Engage with stakeholders to minimise project impacts and ensure a seamless transition for our university community;Ensure consistent, effective communication and change practices across IT projects, aligned with existing university channels to optimise effectiveness and efficiency of solutions.About you Our ideal candidate is a skilled change leader with a talent for inspiring others to embrace new ways of working. You're proactive, strategic, and collaborative, leading the development and delivery of communications and change initiatives that align seamlessly with our university's vision. You're a connector who builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using effective communication channels to drive successful project outcomes. Your focus on quality, readiness, and risk management ensures smooth transitions, while your commitment to continuous improvement enhances our Change Management Framework and supports our community through every step of change.
You will possess: Deep expertise in best practice change management approaches.Strong experience with senior leadership in complex service environments, driving change, managing projects, and building evidence-based business cases.Proven ability to design and implement communication and change strategies through each phase of the digital project lifecycle, ideally in higher education.Excellent business acumen, with a talent for guiding stakeholders through impact assessments to foster seamless adoption of change.Exceptional relationship-building and facilitation skills, preparing teams for change, addressing impacts, and managing resistance effectively.Skilled at coordinating communication and change workstreams across multiple projects, building collaborative relationships within and beyond the university.Extensive experience applying communication and change management strategies to drive transformation and successful change adoption, especially within higher education.Application Details: Your completed application must include:A resume and a statement of suitability (not to exceed two pages), which will be reviewed in alignment to the specified selection criteria as outlined within the position description.Further information regarding how to prepare your application is available on our website: Join our team
