About the Role The Area Sales Manager is responsible for maximising profitability, volume and market share through the growth of new unit sales within the territory by building relationships and gaining new business with current and future clients to support our Sydney Branch.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Achieve profitable unit volume growth through new sales in the sales territory.Develop good relationships with its customers in a competitive environment.Promote sales of the company's products to existing customers and seeks to establish new contacts.Arrange customer visits to demonstrate the performance and suitability of the company's product.Participate in the planning and execution of programs designed to promote the company's products and sales and marketing activities.Give feedback to the National Sales Manager - Retail as to client response and interest patterns.Put technical knowledge to commercial use to assist the preparation of estimates and tenders in accordance with sales and pricing policy.Arrange the promotion and sales of specialised products and equipment of a technical natureEnsure technical information and advice regarding the nature and performance of the company's products is provided to customers.Skills and Experience: Tertiary Qualification in Business Sales or Sales & Marketing, desirablePrevious experience in Sales within the Material Handling industryPrevious experience handling conflicting priorities and work professionally under pressure in competitive situationExcellent Customer Service & Interpersonal skillsIntermediate to advanced Computer literacySelf-MotivatedGreat time management skillsOur commitment: TMHA is committed to ongoing growth and development of its employees.
