You'll lead by example, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met.
With your expertise in industrial processing and demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment, you'll guide your team towards success while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for excellence, we want you on our team About you Reporting to the site Production Superintendent, as a Shift Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in our on-site production team, leading with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

During the maintenance season (non-crush), you will help co-ordinate and supervise safe and efficient maintenance of the plant including delivery of improvement initiatives.
The preferred candidate should possess the following: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Applied Science or Sugar Technology (desirable)Minimum of 5 years knowledge and understanding of industrial processingExperience in and knowledge of environmental management systems and processesKnowledge and end experience in the operation of manufacturing processesDemonstrated leadership experience in a Production and / or Manufacturing environment.Ability to work in a team, develop employees and identify improvement opportunitiesProblem solving, proactive and energetic approachAbout Mackay Sugar Located in tropical north Queensland where unique lifestyle meets progressive industry, Mackay Sugar is Australia's second largest milling company with an annual turnover exceeding $300 million.
