We're thrilled to announce an opportunity for an experienced Head of IT Architecture and Development that has become available with Brandbank Group .
In this critical leadership role, you will oversee a talented team of developers, systems architects, and engineers ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative IT infrastructure and applications.
THE ROLE: Define, implement, and lead the organisations' IT architectural strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and digital objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience across systems.
Oversee the enterprise-wide blueprint and framework of architecture, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
Design end-to-end solutions and oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) focusing on key platforms including Workato Integration, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft D365.
Drive governance and security by ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
Implement best practices in secure coding, system design, and risk mitigation.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in an IT development and architecture role including at least 5 years in a leadership role, overseeing a team of 8+ direct reports.
Experience in the retail industry will be highly regarded.
Demonstrable experience working with Workato, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft D365.
Ability to demonstrate technical expertise while managing stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects, strong commercial acumen, and experience with budget management.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building engaged and high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite Executives and IT Steering Committee.
Comfortable to work 5 days on-site in an inner-city office.
