Doctors at Newmarket is a family practice that prides itself on the quality care we provide. Our patient's health and wellbeing are, and always have been, our greatest priorities. As a fully accredited general practice, the GPs at our practice are all highly trained and passionate about what they do.Conveniently situated in Brisbane's inner north-western suburbs, the practice has been in its current premises since 1990. However, the practice was originally established in 1950. With free undercover parking and allied health services next door including pharmacy, pathology, dentist, exercise physiologist, podiatrist and occupational therapist, our clinic is a one-stop location for quality and friendly healthcare.We are seeking a Full Time Practice Manager to join our team.You will also have the benefit of working under the Better Medical umbrella of over 65 GP practices across Australia. You will be valuable in forming part of our clinic network in a senior Practice Manager position.About the Role:The Practice Manager is the first point of contact for all clinical and non-clinical staff and is responsible for effective and service-focused daily operations of the clinics.Responsibilities include:Exemplary leadership of clinic support staff including reception, nursing, and administrationSupporting and influencing all stakeholders, implementing best practice while bringing others on the journeyCoordinating team members across high volume servicesActing as the escalation point for complex issues, leading with a can-do attitude to deliver a positive outcomeManaging the clinic operational requirements including financial performance, budgeting, service delivery, resourcing, patient bookings, rostering, accreditation and business development.About You:You will be a proven Practice Manager with the ability to confidently and professionally lead by example, a can-do attitude, demonstrated ability to manage competing deliverables, while creating harmonious work environments, effectively balancing the needs of patients, GPs and team members.Your proven ability to multi-task, listen with empathy, drive enhancements, respond to matters with confidence, and do what you say you will do will be key to your success.You will be a true believer in primary care, and you will have the nous to successfully implement process improvement, bringing stakeholders on the journey.You will empower staff through a culture of education and support, teamwork, trust, unity, and respect.
