Position Highlights
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student-centred, flexible and challenging.

This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025 .
The Leader of Sport position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.

About You
As the Leader of Sport , you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
The Leader of Sport works in collaboration with the College Leadership Team, Sydney Catholic Schools and external sporting groups to offer diverse and inclusive sporting opportunities for students to develop their interests and skills through weekly sport.
The Leader of Sport is supported by an Assistant Leader of Sport (1 point).

To excel in this role, you will be able to:
create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach PDHPE including current Stage 6 experience employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences promote active, enjoyable participation in a variety of recreational and competitive sports demonstrate management and administrative skills to ensure weekly sport, whole school events and pathway programs operate effectively and efficiently implement school and system policies and procedures to minimise risk and ensure a strong safety culture.
demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.
You will have attained:
a tertiary qualification in Education eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Application Process
