We look after everything to make sure you are working in a safe and welcoming environment Do you want access to generous entitlements and benefits which may include NSW Rural Health Workforce Incentives while on deployment #ruralhealthincentives What you'll be doing This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of Australia's largest health system by joining the statewide workforce pool known as 'CRU', the Central Resource Unit (CRU) We are looking for a Social Worker Level 2 to provide social work services to consumers and their carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with NSW Health policies and procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
The position will also participate in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching, quality activities and other relevant departmental and administrative duties.

Where you'll be working The CRU Social Worker workforce will be deployed to locations across NSW Health from anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs.
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

To be appointed as a Level 2 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience.
Provide examples of your experience in a health-related field and ability to provide a range of Social Work interventions.
Detail your ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Provide examples of your understanding of, and commitment to quality processes, and the application of evidenced based practice within social work.
Current drivers' licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional/remote areas.
These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
