Job DescriptionMultiple full-time opportunities until June 2025 (possibility to extend)Based at either our Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie office43 - $54 per hour (based on qualifications and experience - Paid at Nurses & Midwives CN4 / SACS Level 4 / Psychologist Grade 2)EACH is the Lead Agency of the Therapeutic Alliance (TA), a consortium of community-based, not-for-profit services who provide services across the North Coast of NSW (the 3 main service hubs are located at Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, and Byron Bay).
The alliance will deliver the Primary Mental Health Program (PMHP) through a multidisciplinary, person-centred, hub-and-spoke model of care.What you'll be doingCoordinate care through liaison with psychiatrists, GPs, and clinicians involved in tertiary and primary mental health, as well as dual diagnosis care.Provide counselling and care coordination for complex mental health issues.Deliver evidence-based treatment in individual, group, and family contexts.Manage holistic assessments and care planning for clients.Collaborate with care agencies, educators, and other stakeholders.Contribute to team meetings and case reviews to ensure effective care.Develop culturally appropriate services to meet diverse client needs.Consult with care partners and maintain strong collaborative relationships.Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance service outcomes.You will be provided with support through supervision tailored to your professional needs and scope of practice.Who we're looking forIf you're an experienced and motivated Mental Health Clinician who is passionate about supporting moderate to increasing acuity mental health issues, including complex and severe best treatment options, support services, co-morbidities, and co-occurring contexts, then we want to hear from youTo be successful in this position you will have:Knowledge and applied understanding of relevant theories underpinning interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in practical application of such, in the areas of complex and severe mental health.Skilled in formulating mental health treatment plans, and a working understanding of the impact of trauma upon mental health.Knowledge and ability to implement mental-health therapeutic approaches (e.g., DBT, ACT, recovery-based approaches).Assessment – mental state examination, crisis, and risk assessment including after-care planning.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing and / or other relevant disciplineCredentialled mental health nurses or working towards.What we offerOpportunities for growth: EACH operates well over 200 programs and services which offer a variety of opportunities for progression and development.Strong commitment to CPE / CPD through supported coaching and regular meetings with your manager.Play a key role in providing essential services to the community.Generous Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging of up to $15,900 free income tax per year + $2,650 additional tax-free money towards meals and entertainment.A supportive and comprehensive Employee Assistance Program.Domestic Violence & Community Service Leave.The opportunity to purchase additional leave.Public Holiday Substitution policy.Join us at EACHFor over 50 years, EACH has been dedicated to enhancing lives and fostering stronger communities through our health and support services.
