Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane.
In this role, you will play a key part in projects including upgrades to refineries, water treatment plants, and manufacturing facilities.
If you are a professional who can work with minimal supervision and you have a strong foundation in electrical engineering, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop electrical designs for projects won and for proposals Prepare electrical documentation including drawings and reports, diagrams, load, and equipment lists Provide electrical input into detailed scopes of work Analyse vendor and subcontractor designs and advise on suitability and compliance Consult with vendor teams and internal teams regarding project schedules Provide technical advice regarding electrical equipment and procurement Provide support during the commissioning/implementation phase
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with RPEQ Experience in hazardous area design Electrical Engineering experience in power and water/wastewater, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas Experience in dealing with electrical reticulation inside buildings Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong teamwork and communication skills
