Exercise high level independent decision making and problem solving informed by evidenced based practice and contribute to an integrated multidisciplinary team approach.Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, and monitor and report on clinical service issues and outcomes.Utilize high level communication and negotiation skills with patients and their families, other health professionals, referrers, and students.Lead the development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance patient care and the delivery of physiotherapy services.Monitor the efficiency of the service thereby maximising OPD appointment utilisation rates and efficiency measures.Actively participate in professional development, supervision and mentoring of clinicians and students to ensure the acquisition of clinical competencies and maintenance of professional clinical standards within the physiotherapy department.Health Equity
