About the Role As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Compliance, Audit, and Risk will:
Lead from the front, designing and implementing forward-thinking strategies, influencing key decisions, and collaborating with diverse teams to embed a culture of compliance.Develop and oversee enterprise-wide compliance programs, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.Lead the management of our risk management framework, aligned with MiQ's strategic objectives and risk appetite.Lead, develop, and coach our Paraplanning team.Conduct regular risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure robust audit practices.Provide strategic oversight on compliance and risk-related matters, offering insights to the CEO and board to inform critical decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders, including Financial Advisers, Client Services, business partners and external regulators, to embed a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the business.Drive organisational resilience through effective incident management, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.This role is central to protecting MiQ's reputation, safeguarding its operations, and positioning it as a leader in compliance excellence.
