Automotive General Manager – Multi-Brand Car DealershipAbout Us: Motorama is a leading multi-brand car dealership dedicated to providing exceptional automotive experiences to our customers. With a diverse selection of brands and a commitment to outstanding service, we aim to exceed customer expectations and build lasting relationships.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead one of our larger dealership operations comprising multiple brands, a large used car yard and service centre. This is not a Dealer Principal position but may lead into one over time.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive management, excellent leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering strong factory and industry relationships. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring the dealership meets its performance targets.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all dealership operations, including sales, service, and parts departments.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure a high-performance culture.Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to maximise profitability.Foster relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and the community to enhance dealership reputation.Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.Experience & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Dealer Principal, General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within the automotive industry.Strong understanding of dealership operations, including sales, finance, and service.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Good business management capabilities including planning, financial understanding and resource management.Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration, commission, bonuses and other benefits.A strong focus on personal and professional growth opportunities.A supportive and collaborative work environment within a larger automotive group environment.Great dealership location with a good mix of brands.How to Apply: If you are a motivated leader with a passion for the automotive industry, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume and a cover letter.Join Us: Be a part of a thriving dealership that values excellence and innovation.
