Clinical Midwife (Inpatient Unit - Maternity)Be accountable for ensuring a consistently high standard of women-centred clinical care and practices, optimising clinical outcomes for women and their babies.An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Midwives (Maternity Inpatient Unit) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH), where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide operational and clinical leadership on each shift.Collaborate with the Midwifery Unit Manager to manage staff and patient flow.Act as a clinical resource for midwifery, nursing, and clinical staff.Facilitate learning opportunities and promote team development.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia.Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Benefits include:Flexible work options.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Permanent full time.$107,960 - $115,604 per annum.About UsThe Maternity Inpatient Units provide excellent women and family-centred care to women, newborns, and their families during admission.
