Our group of businesses (M-Elec, SEVR, Zephyr Fans & Sparkys United) sells products through electrical wholesalers and retailers throughout Australia and after 20 years has now become part of a larger organisation allowing our team to grow, diversify and our company to expand in ways never been available.
About the leadership team: After growing the group from a very small backyard shed the GM believes success comes through innovative products but driven through an amazing team of people.

As we diversify in our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team.

As the Senior Accountant / Finance Manager, you will not only ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting but also play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth through fresh, innovative financial strategies.

What we are looking for: A proven track record in managing complex financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Exceptional analytical skills are crucial, enabling them to interpret data effectively and provide strategic insights to drive business decisions.Good policy, process, and control-orientation and experience with the ability to drive standards.Strong leadership and communication abilities to lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial initiatives and drive profitability.Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize the company's financial position.Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, providing financial expertise and leadership.Qualifications: CA/CPA qualification will be highly regarded, but not essential.Minimum 3 years in financial accounting, with senior experience preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Proactive, deadline-driven, excellent communicator and analytical.You will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a knack for creating efficiencies.
