The Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to manage all aspects of our team, focusing on driving improvements in people, product, service, business administration, and compliance.
For the right candidate, this role offers a dual position with two key responsibilities:
Duty Manager (primary role)
Functions Manager (on designated days of the week)
As a Duty Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and the team to achieve goals and objectives.
On your management shifts, you will oversee all aspects of the Venue, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and compliance are maintained at all times.
In the Functions Manager role, you will:
Manage existing enquiries or assist with them
Grow and promote functions, ensuring they are executed professionally by the function team
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
A strong, engaging personality (this is a personality-driven venue)
Flexibility for 7-day availability across morning, mid, and closing shifts
Confident leadership skills and the ability to motivate the team
Experience managing a medium to high-volume venue, ideally as a Duty Manager
A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a Duty Manager role (Function Management experience is also preferred for the dual position)
Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.
A solid understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of F&B, Gaming, Retail, TAB, KENO, and Functions
A proven ability to drive high standards and lead by example
Creativity and the ability to bring energy, activity, and ambience to the venue
Training will be provided by the Management team.
