That's refreshing. Due to significant growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Regulatory Accounting Lead.
As Regulatory Accounting Lead, you will coordinate, project manage and lead the audit of all reporting to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and you will be responsible for all related policies and procedures.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank, Melbourne and is part of the Group Reporting & Accounting Management team. This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Being the primary coordinator for all EY audits related to regulatory accounts, involving planning and project managing such audits and building trusting, collaborative relationships with information providers into the process.Taking ownership of all segment reporting, cost allocation policies and methodologies.Reconciliation between statutory, regulatory and internal management reporting.Maintaining relationships with stakeholders at the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Demonstrated experience within a similar role, preferably within a utilities and/or infrastructure, complex environment.Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.CA or CPA qualified.Strong interpersonal skills to influence and drive outcomes with various internal and external stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and ability to provide value-add detailed review.Growth mindset and ability to take on large amounts of new information.Success in this role will require an ability to get across the details and nuance of regulatory framework and reporting requirements.A real place to belong We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
