Concierge and Administration Support OfficerOverviewThe Concierge and Administration Support Officer is responsible for setting the tone for a positive experience by being the face of the LGAQ as our Concierge presence. The role ensures that LGAQ leads the way in delivering excellence in all interactions members have while at Local Government House and beyond. A key responsibility will be enhancing members, visitors and guests experience while at LG House, ensuring the experience is positive and enables them to fully appreciate the suite of services available to them.The role will also provide overflow administrative support where required to support the Member Support & Engagement team. This will include providing administration support to projects as well as managing travel bookings and becoming proficient in utilising the LGAQ's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Participation in other projects to provide support to the business will occur as required. Where necessary, the role will provide training on, and support to LGAQ's corporate systems.The Member Support & Engagement team sits within the Assist workstream which is responsible for delivering a range of support and services for members including, governance and workforce support and advice, communications to members and management of the LGAQ's engagement with members.The role reports to the Manager, Member Support & Engagement. This is a full time role based in Newstead, Queensland.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will encompass working within the Member Support & Engagement team and leading the LG House Concierge role and undertaking the allocated administrative functions that support the operations of the Member Support & Engagement team. These duties include:Undertaking the role of LG House Concierge and being the first point of contact for LGAQ members and visitors to provide a professional and courteous front-line service that will maximise member and visitor experience.Providing support and assistance to LGAQ's guests and promoting a positive experience for members while within LG House.Being a first responder to lines of enquiry through email and telephone concierge services and referring matters to the appropriate person or team within LGAQ.Assist in undertaking outbound phone campaigns to support LGAQ's operations, consultation with members, project work and providing general member information.Provide administration support to LGAQ for projects as well as internal and external events, data entry and reporting.Assist in the scheduling, set up, support and clean-up of LG House events, meetings, training, and functions as required.Maintain the highest ethical standards by building and maintaining trust and respect through consistent honesty, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions.Contribute to continuous improvement of the Member Support & Engagement team through the review and maintenance of internal team procedures, processes and knowledge articles to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Manage own time and priorities to achieve goals including diligently attending to details and taking personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achievement of results.Adhere to all workplace relevant legislation and LGAQ policies.Contribute to the LGAQ culture through application of the CARE Behaviours and participation in workplace activities.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:A collegiate approach to working with and listening to colleagues and a passion for working with people in a team-based approach.Demonstrated exceptional customer service experience in a customer service / retail environment including the ability to establish positive relationships with customers / internal and external stakeholders.High standard of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and relate with a wide range of people with enthusiasm and energy.Demonstrated ability to operate as a member of a team in a busy, challenging and changing environment and contribute to the achievement of the team's business outcomes.Ability to take the initiative in demanding situations, plan tasks, manage workload, and demonstrate excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities which reflect urgency and expediency of general tasks to meet required timeframes.Strong computer skills (MS Office suite), including ability to access, interpret and update information from multiple applications.
