ABOUT THE ROLEAssist the Pre-Construction Manager in the coordinated and successful management of design processes on one or more tender projects, to achieve work winning targets.
Support project teams in the successful management of design processes through the conversion and delivery of complex projects.
Manage design management teams.
Ensure all undertakings are executed in accordance with The ADCO Way.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the organised and accurate compilation, management and distribution of design informationIdentify and clarify inaccuracies and ambiguities, and proactively resolve coordination issuesIdentify, assess and communicate risks in design, consulting with expertise where necessaryResponsible for the accuracy and completeness of design-related tender submission informationCoordinate with Pre-Construction and Construction Managers to ensure projects are adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competencyEnsure the accuracy of work produced by the design management teamCoordinate and communicate with the extended tender and project teams to achieve goalsResponsible for ensuring proper handover of design information to project delivery teamsFoster positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and other 3rd partiesChair or attend meetings and forums necessary to lead relevant aspects of the projectABOUT YOUDegree qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similarDemonstrated experience in design management with comprehensive understanding of cost planning construction management, due diligence, project controls and risk assessmentExtensive experience working with and managing external stakeholders including local authorities and consultantsExtensive experience as the lead consultant in leading design teams from concept through to construction documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr
