We bring together extraordinary people, like you, to build a better working world.As a member of our Financial Services Risk Consulting (Process and Controls) practice in Melbourne, your role involves collaborating with leading Financial Services clients to proactively manage their most significant risks.You'll be at the forefront of technology-driven internal audit initiatives, with a focus on people, process and purpose to drive long-term value.
Your expertise will be crucial in aiding clients to pinpoint and capitalize on opportunities to reduce risk and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their processes, ultimately boosting business performance.What's in it for youYou will engage with a range of leading financial services clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing you with a broad spectrum of experiences.Utilising cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence, you'll assess and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems.You'll tap into EY's extensive global network to discover and implement solutions that address our clients' most pressing challenges and assist them on their paths to transformation.In this role you willDevelop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.Identify and evaluate business risks and control weaknesses, providing recommendations for mitigating risks and enhancing controls.Analyse new legislation to determine impact on risk exposure.
Help clients address compliance, financial, and operational risks.Execute and lead fieldwork including audit testing by examining and analyzing data and interviewing personnel, observing operations, and performing physical inspections where necessary.Use data analytics tools (where appropriate) to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of risk within large datasets.Prepare and present detailed audit reports to management, highlighting findings, implications, and actionable recommendations for improvement.What we're looking forHere's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
