Apply now Job no: 501979 Work type: Full time Location: Gold Coast Categories: Maintenance, Security & OH&S AV Electrical Leading Hand$57 per hour FLEXFull TimeMovie World, Oxenford, Gold CoastThe opportunity:We are seeking a AV Electrical Leading Hand to assist with the supervision of the AV/Electrical team members on a daily basis, whilst providing technical support for rides/attractions and organise administration and maintenance of required repairs.Your day to day:Facilitate and organise daily inspections and maintenance of rides and attractions to ensure compliance with ride manufacturer's specifications and departmental requirements.Co-ordinate repairs with other maintenance departments and communicate with AV/Electrical team the required daily maintenance schedule, focusing on priority repairs in order to minimise downtime.Ensure all work is carried out in safe manner as per Australian Electrical Standards & business operating policies and report all incidents/accidents to the AV/ Electrical Supervisor.Ensure all AV/Electrical systems and equipment are tested and maintained to required industry standards.Actively look for ways to improve current processes/procedures to increase department efficiency.What you'll bring:PLC experience will be highly regarded (Programmable Logic Controller).Proven mechanical & electrical aptitude.Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence is an advantage.Basic electrical safety awareness & understanding.Self organisation, problem solving & time management skills with excellent communication, delegation & leadership skills with a strong focus on quality control.Strong focus and sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.Hold a current Electrical licence suitable for use in Queensland. Electrical Fitter/Mechanic.Sound knowledge of rides and attractions & VRTP maintenance procedures/policies.Strong understanding of effective rostering and labour management.Intermediate computer skills, with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).Working knowledge of SAP & Maximo highly desirable.Manual drivers licence is required.Applications close: 20th of October 2024 at 11:55pmAdvertised: 15 Oct 2024 E.
