Council has an exciting opportunity to join the Urban Infrastructure Building and Facilities team as the Building and Facilities Technical Officer.
This position has a whole of Urban Infrastructure focus, working across teams and in collaboration with the other Urban Infrastructure Technical Officers.
The main purpose of the role is to conduct onsite inspections and collect, analyse, and enter asset data relating to Council's urban assets, buildings, facilities and land, and other assets, into Council's asset registers in accordance with relevant legislative and Council requirements, and to provide technical advice and support on the delivery of projects and programs relating to Urban Infrastructure functions.
This role is a full-time role, based in Council's Cudal office.

The operation does not require shift work, instead working Monday to Friday, providing flexibility for the perfect work/life balance.
The position operates over a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight.
Qualifications: Essential Relevant trade qualification i.e.
building and construction trades, or 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.Class C driver's licence.Construction Induction Certification (White Card).Desirable Asset management qualifications or experience.Skills and Experience: Experience in land acquisition and buildings and facilities management.Ability to interpret technical data and create cost-effective design solutions.Good computer and systems skills and the ability to learn and apply new technologies (AutoCAD).Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality customer service and responsiveness to customer requests.Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders.Understanding of project management and project delivery.Other details relating to this position: This position is a Grade 7-8 ($1310.10 - $1549.80 gross per week, depending on experience and qualifications).Access to fitness passport, Council's Employee Assistance Program, mobile phone and other benefits.Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2023.You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.Cabonne Council proudly promotes the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.Council's recruitment process consists of a range of pre-employment screening activities.
