Lead Test Analyst

The Lead Test Analyst will deliver test preparation and perform test execution activities for defined pieces of work.
They may manage testing for small to medium projects under supervision.
Typical test activities include analysis of requirements, designing test cases and scripts, test execution, raising defects, and production of testing user guides as required.As a Lead Tester, you'll collaborate with a small Agile team to define test strategies for features or whole applications; you'll establish test environments and frameworks and work with software developers to achieve high levels of test automation.
You'll work end-to-end, liaising with the Product Owner to define User Stories, through to executing manual and automation tests, performing exploratory testing, and investigating new tools and processes.WFH Policy:There's a hybrid work from model, you can work from most of the week, meeting up with colleagues in Reigate twice a week in modern, open plan offices within a two-minute walk of Central Train station.What will you be doing?Ensuring tests automation strategy is applied consistently in order to speed up execution.Provide impact assessments for testing related change requests and analyse user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.Develop and execute test strategies and test plans in accordance with the business requirements.Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analysts, SMEs, and developers to ensure understanding of requirements and implementation of appropriate test cases.Test case design, applying traceability from test cases/scripts to business requirements.Embed, run and maintain the automated tests prescribed within the Automation Test Framework.Analyse (and document if needed) defects discovered during test runs.Creating test cases or scenarios based on business defined requirements.Generating reporting on testing, including test execution, defects, and challenges.Working with the development team in performing static analysis.Reporting regularly to the test manager on all progress.Requirements:You're a skilled QA Test Automation Engineer with C# and Selenium experience.You have end-to-end testing experience.You enjoy problem solving and collaborating as part of a cross-functional Agile team.You believe in automating wherever possible.Substantial general work experience with comprehensive test analyst experience.Demonstrated experience in Test Strategy/Plan development across large and complex technical environments.Demonstrated knowledge and application of test management methodologies and an ability to apply the use of appropriate test management techniques, methodologies, and tools.Demonstrated understanding of testing practices and experience working in an agile environment.Demonstrated tenacity in tracking and monitoring testing outcomes, remaining adaptable to changes.Demonstrated communication and time management skills.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to ****** levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting
