About the Role As a Buyer Administrative Assistant, you will help assist the buying team in the day-to-day operational tasks.
You will own the management of purchase orders, PO statuses, and general system hygiene.
The Buyer Admin Assistant's role is to improve upon the entire buying process.
Responsibilities Ensure completion of required administrative tasks related to buying (writing purchase orders, new item set-up, pricing worksheets, PO tracking, etc.
)Build data analytical skills and maintain data integrity across the system (i.e., Shopify, Inventory Planner, NetSuite, and any proprietary tools built in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets)Maintain reports and tools, as needed by the merchandising teamMonitor deliveries, including late deliveries, incorrect/partial deliveries, and incorrect invoicesHelp with campaign collection lifecycleAssist in building a collection line list for monthly Marketing storiesAid buyers in assorting and tracking products until Marketing handoffHelp to assist with Quarterly projects for the merchandising team (ex: Hindsights)Work with the Warehouse team to pull any TOP samples missing for Ecommerce shootsPlan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and increase efficiencyPerform general administrative duties for the merchandising team as neededBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliersHelp manage the TOP sample process and ensure items are described and passed over to marketing in a timely mannerPreparation of new arrivals, including product descriptions, tagging and sub-category tagging for both regionsEnsure that the product description page is free of errors and up to current Petal & Pup standards.Skills & Experience Encourage a strong team spirit between all departments of the business through regular communicationBuild and maintain a strong professional relationship with the merchandising teamBuild and maintain a professional relationship with all suppliersMaintain a close working relationship with the finance and operations team to ensure correct inventory and fast responses to invoicing/product issuesKnowledge of Excel and Google SheetsOutstanding communication skillsStrong detail orientation and thoroughnessHigh degree of flexibility and initiativeSalary: $33.96 an hour
