The Victorian Poisons Information Centre (VPIC) provides members of the Victorian public and health professionals with information and advice about:
First aid in the event of poisoning, suspected poisoning, bites and stings.
An assessment of the severity of a poisoning or exposure Potential toxic effects from a poisoning or exposure Treatment and management Prevention of poisoning About the role
As EDNAV project research coordinator you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate about reducing harms related to illicit substance use.
You will coordinate EDNAV research activities, including a weekly multidisciplinary EDNAV surveillance group meeting.
You will analyse study data to ensure the surveillance group is informed of the latest EDNAV signals and trends.
Your role will include liaising with external Alcohol and other Drug community stakeholders, managing EDNAV sample acquisition and transport operations, and responding to requests for project data.
About you
You will have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
You will have clinical experience as a pharmacist, current AHPRA registration, and experience working within a research team.
You will also have experience with statistical software applications utilized in research, and an understanding of research ethics and conduct within the Australian Healthcare setting.
