Salary and Benefits $140 Base salary – negotiable based on experience.$150 after successful 3-month trial.11.5% Superannuation.Uncapped commission.On Target Earnings $180,000.Plus, Commercial vehicle (for product display) with uncapped petrol allowance.Location: Welshpool
The Role The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and managing both the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth, build brand awareness, and cultivate strong client relationships.
This role requires a strategic approach to planning and executing sales and marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on value-based selling.
The Sales and Marketing Manager will ensure that the team not only meets but exceeds targets while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Team size: Two customer service people and a marketing coordinator.Time allocation: 50% of time on the road visiting distributors and 50% of time managing and making sales calls.The Company For over 47 years, the Company has been at the forefront of Australian design, manufacture, and installations.

Stable resilient company.Family-owned business.Career opportunity.Opportunity to shape the future of the organisation.Working in a dynamic and challenging environment.Duties Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.Set quarterly and annual sales and marketing targets, forecast sales performance, and create actionable plans to achieve these goals.Identify new market opportunities and trends, ensuring that the team is equipped to respond effectively.Team Leadership and Development: Provide timely feedback to management on support required.Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to achieve individual and team objectives.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.Client Relationship Management: Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.Support the sales team in handling complex customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement client acquisition and retention strategies.Sales and Marketing Integration: Ensure seamless integration between sales and marketing efforts, with clear communication and collaboration between the teams.Utilising data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and their impact on sales performance.Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials that highlight the value and quality of our products.Value-Based Selling: Ensure that the sales team focuses on selling the unique benefits and quality of our products.Develop and communicate clear value propositions that resonate with our target customers.Lead by example in value-based selling, managing high-level negotiations and securing key contracts.Budget and Resource Management: Manage the sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.Negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients, partners, and marketing vendors.Commit to a level of sales and growth that will allow the company to thrive, and drive success through the establishment and maintenance of a healthy pipeline.The Ideal Candidate Has two referees, one of whom is either a business owner or the person they directly reported to.They follow the recruitment process.Has at least three years of experience:
Developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans.Utilising relevant data and analytics to create plans and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Consistently achieving the objectives set out in the sales and marketing plan.Ensuring the team achieved their individual objectives and contributions to the plan.Reporting to the directors on the success of the plan and their ideas to optimize it.Overseeing the management of key client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.Creating a collaborative partnership with operations to ensure the client's expectations are always met.We embrace diversity and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
