An opportunity exists for an Assistant Branch Manager at our foodservice branch located in Kalgoorlie.
About the Role : Reporting to the Branch Manager, the ideal candidate will have a background in Foodservice or an allied industry, and will be able to demonstrate a successful history of organisational excellence, and strong interpersonal skills.
Initiative, motivation, and exceptional attention to detail are important attributes for this role, as is the ability to enhance, and develop profitable business partnerships with customers and suppliers.
Key Requirements : Oversee and assist the Branch Manager with all sales, expenses, and profit linesAssist with managing day to day operationsLiaise with suppliers and internally to optimise local deals and ensure stock levels are maintained, reviewed and adjustedManage personnel and authorise all expenses, including wages to efficiently meet the operational requirements of the businessContinually improve systems and procedures by recommending and implementing changeEnsure that safe working procedures are in place and adhered toSkills and Experience : Proven background in Foodservice or an allied industryProven background in salesKnowledge of WHS & HACCP requirementsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to provide leadership, work under pressure and as part of a diverse teamBidfood can offer you : Bonus StructureStaff Discounted Pricing 3000 + itemsAccess to online workforce development programsTeam member access to Corporate Health Plans and other staff benefitsEmployee Assistance programs to support staff and their familiesIf you believe you are the right person to join our business and drive our company's strong belief in customer service, please apply with your cover letter and confidential resume.
