About the role
As the Customer Engagement Lead, you'll drive customer growth and retention through targeted campaigns across owned channels, including eDM, push notifications, and SMS.
You'll collaborate with the wider marketing team to manage campaigns that convert and retain Monthly Active Users, while analysing data to optimize performance.
This role involves overseeing both lifecycle and trade driving marketing efforts, developing Martech capabilities for revenue generation, and conducting A/B testing to enhance customer engagement.
You'll work closely with internal teams to prioritise strategies and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Your Focus
Provide strategic leadership to drive customer growth and retention through the successful execution of targeted campaigns across owned channels.
Lead and manage a high performing team, fostering a positive work environment, and drive performance through effective people management strategies.
Working with the wider marketing team on campaigns to convert or retain customers as Monthly Active Users, including leading E2E campaign delivery across owned-channels (including but not limited to eDM, push notifications, pop-ups, and SMS).
Analyse campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation.
Drive both BAU and lifecycle marketing management to nurture customer relationships and drive long-term loyalty.
Liaise with internal stakeholders across a matrixed organisation, and able to have prioritisation discussions with partner teams, confidently working to deliver the best approach to meet objectives.
Develop new products and Martech capabilities for Sales to use as additional revenue channels.
Drive the Customer Engagement strategy to life by developing marketing experiments that contribute to customer growth & engagement.
About You
Extensive direct marketing experience and marketing operations leadership at a senior level.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, fostering a positive work environment, and driving performance through effective people management strategies.
Extensive experience in Braze, Adobe campaign, Salesforce marketing cloud or Oracle Responsys.
Expertise in direct marketing channels including marketing automation across email, web and app push notifications, in-app messaging and SMS (Leanplum, Twilio, Firefox, Mandrill, Braze).
Grasp of business intelligence principles and digital marketing analytics tools (PowerBI, Analytics Cloud, OAC, Excel).
Technical knowledge with programming languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript), and Martech templating languages (RPL, Liquid, GTL, AMPScript).
Be versed in SQL to handle, deal with and manipulate data in relational databases.
