Allcare is seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Finance to join our dynamic leadership team.
This role is central to driving financial excellence and sustainability as we continue to scale our impact in the community.
Key Accountabilities Financial Planning and Strategy: Crafting and executing financial strategies to support long-term organisational growth.Budgets and Forecasting: Leading accurate budget development and forward-looking financial forecasting.Operational Efficiency and Cost Management: Driving efficiency across financial operations to maximise resources.Financial Reporting: Ensuring transparent and timely reporting to Leadership team.Risk Management and Compliance: Maintaining a robust framework for financial compliance and risk mitigation.Cash Flow and NDIS Management: Overseeing cash flow and managing complex NDIS funding structures and ensuring absolute financial compliance.Payroll and Accounts Processing: Ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant processing of payroll and accounts.Auditing: Auditing current invoicing & claiming processes and improvement as necessary.About You This role would suit a financial leader who:
Has a strong track record in financial leadership, ideally within dynamic, multi-division organisations, with experience in the not-for-profit or non-state school sectors.Is innovative and solution-focused, capable of navigating complexity and driving sustainable financial growth.Thrives in a culture of passion, creativity, and community impact, bringing energy and inspiration to our mission.Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation.A degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Masters, CA or CPA desirable.Significant experience in strategic financial management, including the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.Proven ability to operate at an executive level within a multidisciplinary leadership team.Strong knowledge of compliance requirements within Australian for and not-for-profit disability and community services.Proficiency in financial systems and related technologies.Extensive experience in the NDIS industry with knowledge of correct invoicing, claiming and auditing to ensure absolute compliance to the NDIS standards.What You'll Be Doing Providing strategic guidance to executives through financial analysis and insights into market trends and opportunities.Developing and executing financial plans that align with Allcare's growth objectives.Developing & Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.Auditing and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards of invoicing and claiming.Leading risk management initiatives to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.What We're Looking For We're seeking a visionary leader who thrives in ambiguity and is driven to make a difference.
