Taking a Senior role in the team you will also provide technical advice and guidance to your colleagues and wider team.
Building Consultancy comprising residential & commercial strataCausation investigation and analysisRemediation advice and guidanceInsurance Underwriting surveysIdentify building defects and damagePrepare and issuance of reports to articulate causation, extent of loss, and recommended remediationScope preparation and validationSupport CHU on the delivery of key strategic initiatives and projectsWork cohesively with all other claims teams within CHUProvide technical claims advice for colleagues within your teamProviding risk insights and guidance to the Underwriting teamWillingness to develop and mentor Building ConsultantsWe'd love to meet you Especially if you can talk to us about your: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar consultancy roleHold a current Builders Licence - this is mandatory, please list on resumeThorough knowledge of the building industryThorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian StandardsAbility to communicate with all customers both verbally and in written formAbility to identify building defects and resultant damageAbility to produce complex reports - causation / defects / risk / scopeCurrent residency in or willingness to relocate to NSWEducation/Qualifications Diploma/Degree / Tertiary Qualification in Building / ConstructionMinimum 10 years related work experiencePrior Insurance work - highly regardedOur commitment to you At the heart of CHU's company culture is recognition of the value our team members bring to the workplace through their individual backgrounds, culture, strengths, creativity, ideas, shared experiences and access to a flexible work environment.
