Risk And Compliance Manager

Working with our leading, global corporate client as a Risk and Compliance Manager , you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the organisation.
You will focus on critical areas such as modern slavery risk, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks, and planning and facilitating risk workshops.
Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust risk frameworks and assessments to support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities Lead the identification and management of risks related to modern slavery and ESG.
Design and execute comprehensive risk workshops and assessments across various departments.
Develop, implement, and enhance risk management frameworks to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of existing controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management strategies into business processes.
Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on risk and compliance matters.
Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting key risks and mitigation strategies.
Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactively address emerging risks.

Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or a similar role, with a focus on modern slavery and ESG risks.
Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct risk workshops and develop effective risk frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in risk management and compliance.
