Mowing Crew Leader Citywide is recruiting for a Mowing Crew Leader to lead a small team within our prestigious open space contract in Melbourne's CBD, maintaining some of the City's most iconic parks, gardens and reserves.
Fitzroy Gardens Depot/Shrine of Remembrance DepotMonday to Friday 7am to 3.06pmResponsibilities of the roles include but are not limited to: Mowing and maintaining lawns to the highest standard using push mowers, ride-on mowers, line trimmers, lawn edgers and leaf blowers.Lawn renovations including top-dressing, oversewing, broadleaf herbicide spraying and fertilising.Using software to follow a schedule and sign-off completed works.Leading and training a small team.Maintaining good relationships with the client and all stakeholders.Supporting a good team culture.Skills and experience required: Previous relevant experience in a horticulture or turf maintenance roleCert 3 in Horticulture or equivalent (Desirable)Current Victorian Drivers LicenceKnowledge of herbicide application techniques (Desirable)Traffic Management experience (Desirable)Cert 3 Chemical UserDisease and Pest Control Identification Certificate (Desirable)Working With Children CardTeam playerMotivatedFocus on safety of self and othersIn return we offer: The job security that comes with our list of long-term contractsThe chance to make an impact in a rapidly expanding companyThe opportunity to further develop your skills in a strong, supportive environmentA workplace that focuses on safety firstA company with a culture of teamwork and respectAbout Citywide At Citywide, we are a proud company with a clear purpose and mission – we shape liveable cities by delivering the full scope of civil infrastructure, open space and environmental services to government and private enterprise.
