As the Project Delivery Manager, you are accountable for ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with our Project Delivery Platform and each project delivers its strategic objectives.
You are responsible for managing all aspects of the Project Delivery Team, including establishing project teams, maintaining core capabilities, continuous improvement, determining resource requirements, mentoring team members, monitoring the quality of outputs and evaluating operational effectiveness.
You are accountable for the compliance of all individual projects, incorporating all aspects of successful project management including cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
You will seek to benefit from the delivery of multiple projects as a portfolio and to achieve Verbrec's strategic business objectives, whilst meeting both Verbrec's and the Client's expectations.
You will bring a positive, inclusive, and innovative attitude to help drive the continued growth of this exciting company.
Key Requirements: Manage the Project Delivery team to achieve financial, operational and strategic Business Plan outcomesForm part of the South leadership team, guiding the strategic direction of the business unitAccountable for compliance to the Project Delivery Platform, for all projects within the portfolioManage the preparation and submission of proposals, in consultation with all relevant multi-discipline engineering teams, and aligned to Verbrec's strategic objectivesAccountable for the performance of all projects within the portfolioEnsure the accuracy of cost and schedule performance indicators to monitor performance of a portfolio, and is accountable for the implementation of measures to positively influence and control project performanceAccountable for the collation and mitigation of project risks at a portfolio levelAccountable for the identification and capture of lessons learnt at a portfolio level, including the sharing of key learnings with other Business UnitsWe are Agile This allows us to be light on our feet and progressive as we don't get bogged down in bureaucracy.

To be successful you will have:
A project management background with a minimum of 10 years' experience, with more than 5 years in engineering consultingCertificate IV in Project Management PracticeCommercial experience, including engineering services contractsProven ability to successfully manage projects of at least $30M in valueAbility to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframesAble to build strong relationships (internal and external)Highly developed communication, team and interpersonal skillsExcellent time and task management skillsAbility to build and develop a teamWe are growing At Verbrec, we empower change and create opportunities for you to develop a supercharged career pathway, whether it is a technical, or focused on the people.
