The Opportunity:
As the Team Leader Project Delivery, you'll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of infrastructure and capital works projects within the City of Prospect.
This pivotal leadership role combines strategic oversight and hands-on technical expertise to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Reporting to the Manager of PMO and Project Delivery, you'll oversee a skilled team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to enhance our city's infrastructure.
About this role:

Lead and mentor the Project Delivery Team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Oversee all aspects of project planning, including procurement, contract, and resource management.
Provide expert technical advice on civil and building projects to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage risks, ensure compliance, and facilitate seamless asset handovers.
Deliver Council's annual capital works program and support external public realm projects from developers and State Government agencies.
Offer strategic advice to executives and managers on infrastructure planning, renewal, and major projects.
Ensure all works align with Council's objectives and community expectations.
About You:

Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Building & Construction.
A leader with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex projects.
Technical ability to lead and delivery in civil or building infrastructure.
Advanced Microsoft skills are essential, and MS Project will be highly regarded.
Adept at stakeholder engagement, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
Experienced in procurement, contract management, and risk assessment.

This is a Level 8 position which has a current salary range of $128,657.36 - $137,015.84 per annum (plus superannuation)
