This is a rare opportunity to be part of an expert team dedicated to shaping an organisation that puts children's exploration and potential at the forefront of everything we do.About the RoleAs we build our dynamic team, we are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Manager to lead and develop our payroll functions. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the financial well-being of our organisation by developing efficient payroll systems, maintaining compliance, and streamlining procedures for optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage payroll systems for processing salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxesOversee payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes, and ensure system upgradesEnsure compliance with relevant laws, accurate interpretation of Awards, and internal policiesSupervise and mentor payroll staff while collaborating with People Services and Finance teamsMaintain accurate records, prepare reports, and address payroll-related inquiries effectivelyAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you will have/be:Minimum 5 years in payroll management, preferably in not-for-profit or early learningStrong knowledge of payroll procedures, laws, and multi-location complexitiesProficient in payroll software/HRIS, MS Office (Excel), with attention to detailExceptional math and analytical skills to manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication and organisational skills; relevant qualifications in administration, bookkeeping, or accounting preferredWhy Join MACSEYE?At MACSEYE, we are deeply committed to the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
