The Australia Sector has more than 1,200 employees operating across four countries, namely Australia, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom.
About the role: Based in our Air Affairs operations in Nowra, this newly created role will report to a Senior People Partner and will support the operations in providing HR advice and guidance, along with assisting with the ongoing maintenance and implementation of HR policies and procedures, along with supporting a variety of projects.
Duties will include, but not limited to: Providing efficient first line support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and activitiesEvaluating, preparing and updating position descriptionsSupporting the continuous development and implementation of HR processesCompiling and providing data and employment information to the employee services teamManaging the ongoing compliance requirements, including development of plans and reportsWorking with the broader People team to ensure seamless delivery of HR cyclical activities are rolled out, understood and embedded into functional teamsFull-time, 12 months fixed-term opportunity.
About you: Proven experience working in an agile HR teamSound working knowledge of and the proven ability to interpret and advise on the Fair Work Act, NES and Modern AwardsStrong relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to influence key stakeholdersWillingness to work in operations and on projectsAttention to detail with the ability to implement and manage processesApplicants MUST be eligible to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
